On May 9, 2006, 3:00 p.m., at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City, a Master of Divinity graduate from Union Theological Seminary, Philippines, Rev. Ferdinand Jose married Celeste Velasco from The Living Word UMC, Marikina City. Bishop Solito K. Toquero, DS Horacio Sison, and Rev. Hilario Carolino were the solemnizing officers. Reception was held at The Sulo Hotel, Matalino Road, Quezon City. Before the bride marched to the altar. the groom sang "Gaano Kita Kamahal." At the reception hall, advices and wishes were expressed--Rev. Anacleto G. Guerrero on behalf of the "Ninongs"; and Mrs. Unida L. Bongcoon behalf of the "Ninangs".
Ferdie is the youngest child of Mr. & Mrs. Dionisio / Rosy Jose; Cel is the oldest child of Mr. & Mrs. Stanley/ Gloria Velasco. The Velascos are from San Miguel, Bulacan. The Joses are from Rizal Province.
